Karen Kelly is a FCPA qualified Accountant with a public practice certificate. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Sydney with dual majors in Psychology and English, and she has completed the Graduate Conversion in Accounting from the University of Technology, Sydney. As part of her Bachelor of Arts she received formal training in research and statistics, and her CPA program included MIS training. Private companies she has worked for include Pivot Point Australia Pty Ltd, Ralsport Pty Ltd, Southcorp Ltd, Furama Hotel Central, Boral Ltd, Simsmetal Ltd, Westpac Ltd, and St. Luke’s Hospital Complex. Karen’s public sector experience includes the NSW Parliament and NSW Rail Infrastructure Corporation, and she has served on several task forces in which the ATO has sought advice or comment on proposed changes to regulations or processes.
